Your tasks:
- Care for cancer patients and their families
- Preparation and administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and antibody therapies
- Nursing care, counseling, and support for patients throughout their treatment (primarily for breast and gynecological cancers)
- Recording and documentation of nursing services
- Billing of medications, materials and services
Your profile:
- Completed training as a certified nurse HF, preferably with experience in medical oncology and higher professional training in oncology or comparable qualification

Tumor- und BrustZentrum Ostschweiz is one of Switzerland’s leading breast centers. At our St. Gallen location, we care for approximately 300 patients with newly diagnosed breast cancer each year and offer the full range of modern breast care—from early detection and diagnosis through surgical, plastic, and medical therapy to follow-up care and prevention. Our breast center is Q-Label certified and is committed to high-quality treatment and consistently patient-centered care.
The care of our patients is provided through close interdisciplinary collaboration among the departments of breast surgery, radiology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, pathology, human genetics, and other specialties.
As a center dedicated to academic work, we participate in clinical research, regularly organize continuing education and professional development programs, and are actively involved in university teaching.
To strengthen our team at our St. Gallen location, we are looking for a (position to be determined)
Breast Specialist (40–60%)
Your Responsibilities
- Providing care for female patients in the outpatient breast clinic, with a focus on evaluation, counseling, and follow-up care
- Independent performance of clinical breast diagnostics
- Close collaboration with the relevant medical specialties at the Breast Center
- No operational activities are planned
Your Profile
- Board certification in gynecology and obstetrics or another specialty relevant to breast medicine with a corresponding clinical focus
- Experience in breast ultrasound; knowledge of interventional breast diagnostics is a plus
- Interest in breast medicine and in the interdisciplinary care of patients with breast diseases
- A passion for a patient-centered, empathetic, and team-oriented approach to work
